About the opportunity
The Compliance, Risk & Assurance Analyst supports risk-informed decision-making by delivering data-driven insights, ensuring regulatory compliance across key legislation, and enhancing risk maturity through audits, reporting, and collaboration with stakeholders.
You’ll also
- Conduct and support audits and risk assessments, including reactive and proactive audits, security reviews, and controls testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Maintain and enhance the Operational Risk Register, documenting risks and issues, and contributing to the ongoing review and improvement of Australia Post's risk profile.
- Support compliance framework alignment, ensuring frameworks are ‘fit for purpose’ and meet all regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Drive risk and compliance culture uplift while assisting in executing strategic objectives that improve risk maturity and embed a strong compliance culture across Network Partners.
- Identify and implement process improvements, collaborating with leadership to innovate and enhance risk and compliance reporting and operational practices.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, foster respectful, trusted relationships internally and externally to support risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you
A detail-oriented risk and compliance professional with a strong focus on Auditing. Strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
You’ll also need
- Strong understanding of Audit and Risk methodologies
- A strong understanding of Audit and Risk management methodologies including risk, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Proven experience in controls testing and quality assurance, with the ability to assess and enhance control design and operational effectiveness.
- Skills in stakeholder engagement, with experience supporting the implementation of risk and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience uplifting risk culture within operational teams or partner networks.
- Knowledge of ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Standard and familiarity with relevant regulatory environments.
