About the opportunity 
 As the Delivery Manager of Launceston Delivery Centre, you will play a critical role in leading safe, reliable and high performing delivery operations across a large and complex delivery area. Safety will be at the centre of every decision you make, as you embed a strong Safety Culture across your teams.

In addition to Launceston Delivery Centre, you will also hold accountability and the have Managers of North-West Coast facilities reporting directly to you. You will operate as a senior leader within the delivery network, working across people, performance, contractors and stakeholders to ensure sustainable, compliant and reliable operations.


What you’ll deliver with us

 In this role, your focus will be on outcomes that strengthen safety, service and efficiency across the delivery network. You will translate strategy into action while maintaining strong control of operational performance.

You will do this by

  •  Embedding and sustaining a Zero Safety Culture across all workgroups
  • Delivering consistent service performance through effective planning and performance management
  • Driving cost control, efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement outcomes
  • Leading change and innovation to improve operational capability and resilience
  • Building strong relationships with contractors, unions and internal stakeholders


About you  

You are an experienced operational leader who brings people with you through change and complexity. You are confident operating in industrial environments and know how to balance safety, performance and engagement in fast paced operations.

To succeed in this role, you will bring

  •  Demonstrated experience leading teams in operational or logistics environments, ideally across multiple shifts
  • A proven ability to influence safety culture and embed personal accountability for safe work practices
  •  Experience managing industrial relations matters and working constructively with unions and stakeholders
  •  Strong commercial and operational acumen, including performance, cost and KPI management
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to drive change and continuous improvement
