We’re building stronger, data‑driven capabilities across Network Operations and we’re looking for a Data Solutions Analyst to help make that happen.

About the opportunity

Welcome to our world where things move fast, priorities shift quickly, and data is the engine powering it all.

We’re a high-energy, fast-paced team operating and driving Australia Post’s digital transformation towards predictive, automated and AI insights driven future. If you’re someone who thrives in a dynamic, agile environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and can balance structure with speed, this is the role for you.

This role owns the development and delivery of short-term forecasts and shapes the long‑range and will be seen as a key enabler for our business transformation. The role is accountable for forecast accuracy, bias management, scenario modelling and governance, supporting strategic, commercial and operational decision‑making across Network Operations.

What makes our team different?

We don’t just analyse data; we solve real-world problems. Our team is always looking for smarter, faster, and more efficient ways to work, whether that means automating manual processes, streamlining workflows, or finding creative solutions to everyday challenges. If you love improving how things get done and thrive on making a tangible impact, you’ll fit right in.

About the role

In this role, you will play a key part in developing, implementing, and enhancing advanced cost to serve and profitability analytics to support Network Operations. You will help deliver, own and continuously improve cost‑to‑serve and profitability analytics, providing auditable, reconciled and decision‑ready cost insights across the end‑to‑end logistics network.

With a strong focus on governance and scalability, you’ll help ensure our data solutions remain robust, trusted, and adaptable to changing business needs. You’ll also work in line with the ethical standards and values of Australia Post, contributing to a safe, customer‑focused, and wellbeing‑driven workplace.

This role sits within Network Analytics and focuses on building scalable data solutions that explain cost, performance, and profitability across the network. You’ll work closely with operational, finance, and planning teams to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that support better decisions.

Your work will help Australia Post understand where costs are incurred, what drives them, and how the network can improve without compromising safety, service, or customer experience.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving real problems, working across teams, and continuously improving how data is used day to day.
