About the opportunity
The Australia Post Group’s Compliance Framework is Framework is rolled out through multiple individual group compliance programs that are maintained by various subject matter experts across the organisation. Acting as an independent adviser and subject matter expert, the Compliance Manager will need to collaborate with Compliance Program Managers and internal stakeholders across the business to provide value-add insight and advice that is relevant, commercial, and strategically oriented to assist the Australia Post Group in managing its compliance risks in relation to multiple compliance programs, in accordance with the Group Compliance Management Framework.
Reporting to the ‘Head of Risk & Compliance, Frameworks & Reporting’, your role is critical to the effective dialogue with senior stakeholders around compliance awareness, governance, and oversight.
You’ll also
- Support the day-to-day implementation and oversight of the Compliance Framework, including gathering information and drafting enterprise compliance reports that drive accountability across the organisation and allows for informed risk-based decision-making to occur
- Coordinate, manage, draft, collate and review the information for Compliance Reporting to the Board's Audit and Risk Committee (quarterly)
- Maintain systems, processes and artefacts that support those programs operating in a consistent and coordinated manner to ensure an optimal compliance outcome for the organisation in the most efficient manner possible
- Provide oversight and guidance to Compliance Program Managers, including organising and hosting Compliance Community Days and other educational information
About you
- Graduate of Accounting, Finance, Law or commensurate qualifications/experience
- Great understanding of risk and controls methodology and approaches
- Previous experience working within a complex environments with multiple stakeholders
