About the opportunity

Reporting to the ‘Senior Manager, Community Relations & Partnership’, you are responsible for helping to protect and enhance Australia Post’s reputation and its social licence to operate through managing community programs and partnerships that proactively establish mutually beneficial relationships for community partners, other community stakeholders, and Australia Post. 


This role is instrumental in developing and delivering on the Community Partnerships and Programs Strategy and managing strategic community partnerships for the enterprise. This role will also be working with the communications and marketing teams to develop campaigns to strengthen Australia Post's reputation through community activity. 


You’ll be responsible for:

  • Develop multiyear strategic plans and annual plans for each partnership aligned to Community Strategy
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with individual partnerships including the negotiation of contracts, ongoing management and maximisation of associated assets and benefits, planning and review
  • Work in partnership with the Retail, Brand, Marketing and Communications teams to develop and deliver marketing and communications plans to support the community strategy and enhance the brand and reputation of Australia Post
  • Work with partners to deliver measurable social impact for communities and our partners
  • Develop and deliver world class enterprise sponsorship initiatives for team members, community and customers to enhance Australia Post’s brand, reputation and market profile and deliver on our enterprise strategy

 

About you

You have a passion for making a positive impact to the lives of Australians particularly those who are disadvantaged. You are a communications, marketing or community engagement specialist, action-oriented and great at building strong relationships with your stakeholders, internally and externally. You also love managing people and supporting others to grow and thrive.


What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience in sponsorship and partnership management 
  • Proven track record of delivering, managing and leveraging partnerships across large and complex organisations
  • Excellent community partnership strategy planning and development experience
  • Strong people management skills and experience in financial management of P&L & Budgets
  • Experience in navigating, collaborating and influencing stakeholders within a large matrix organisation
  • Highly developed commercial and relationship management skills
  • Ability to adapt to organisational change, prioritise workload, and problem solve
  • Highly developed communication and writing skills
