About the opportunity

Reporting into the ‘Senior Manager, Community Programs’, you are responsible for helping to protect and enhance Australia Post’s reputation and its social license to operate through managing community programs that proactively establish mutually beneficial relationships for community partners, other community stakeholders and Australia Post. 

 

This role is instrumental in developing and delivering on the Community Partnerships and Programs Strategy and managing strategic community programs for the enterprise. 

 

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the implementation of community programs to deliver on the enterprise and community strategy
  • Supporting the development and delivery of community programs for the benefit of the organization, its team members and Australian communities
  • Collaborating with Community Partnerships, Retail, Brand, Marketing and Communications teams to deliver marketing and communications plans and campaigns to support the community strategy, and enhance the brand and reputation of Australia Post
  • Supporting the delivery of high-quality communications and reporting

 

About you

You have a passion for making a positive impact to the lives of Australians. You understand the not-for-profit sector and advocacy bodies in Australia Post. You are action-oriented, great at building relationships internally and externally, collaborate with stakeholders to deliver programs and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Experience with grant programs is highly regarded
  • Understanding of the not for profit sector and advocacy bodies in Australia Post
  • Skills in stakeholder engagement, relationship building and collaboration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with sensitivity to diverse audiences and stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to change, prioritise workload, and problem solve
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
