We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Advisor to join our Enterprise Communications team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fast-paced, highly operational role, supporting critical business continuity and incident communications during peak periods.
Working at the heart of the organisation, you’ll partner closely with operational teams, Customer Success and Contact Centre leaders, and broader enterprise communications colleagues to ensure timely, clear and effective communications when it matters most.
What you’ll deliver with us
In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our people informed, aligned and confident during periods of heightened operational activity. You’ll also:
- Lead internal communications during incidents and peak operational periods, following established processes while thinking on your feet
- Develop and implement internal communications plans of internal initiative and programs
- Provide strong judgement on when and how to escalate issues, engaging the right stakeholders at the right time
- Partner with teams across Corporate Communications, People &Culture and other business units to support enterprise-wide campaigns and priorities
- Build trusted relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders across the business
About you
You’re a confident and responsive communications professional who thrives in fast-moving environments. You’re calm under pressure, comfortable managing ambiguity, and able to balance structure with sound judgement when situations evolve quickly.
You’re also
- A strong writer who can turn complex or technical information into clear, engaging communications
- Proactive, empowered and comfortable managing up in a dynamic team environment
- Highly collaborative, with a natural ability to build credibility and influence across a large organisation
You’ll also need
- 6+ years of proven experience in internal communications, ideally within a large, complex or operational organisation
- Experience developing and delivering communications plans end-to-end. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work across multiple teams
- Demonstrated judgement, responsiveness and ability to prioritise in time critical situations
How we’ll deliver for you
- The opportunity to work on high-impact, enterprise-wide communications during critical operational periods
- A supportive, empowering team culture that values initiative, collaboration and practical advice
- Exposure to senior stakeholders and complex organisational challenges in one of Australia’s most recognised brands
