About the opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Property, you will provide expertise in interpreting national property markets and developing strategies for the Australia Post Group’s assets. Formulating and Implementing asset strategies for property disposition and acquisition, transaction structuring to meet the occupancy, timing, and financial targets and returns on Assets.


You will also participate in formulating and implementing asset strategies for property disposition and acquisition, and transaction structuring to meet the occupancy, timing, and financial targets.


What you’ll deliver with us

  • Establish, manage, and communicate Strategic Property plans that meet business unit operational considerations and capital raising flexibility 
  •  Formulate and direct the identification of property opportunities to complement business growth objectives gaining Stakeholder/Board approvals to procure, negotiate, and complete high value property acquisitions.
  • Develop specific initiatives and submit for Executive and Board approval for property redevelopment, structured sale transactions, and grow revenue from leased tenancies


About you

  • Strong interpretive and comprehension skills related to Property and Asset Management legal procedures and matters 
  • Experience in Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) financial analysis and interpretation of financial models, preparation of business cases, and preparation of advice and Board Papers
  • Strong understanding and interpretation of business plans, strategies, commercial practices, property and procurement compliance legislation, and other statutory and regulatory requirements that apply to our enterprise
  • Experience in computer-based applications e.g. Cougar, MS Excel, MS Access, and presentation software
