About the opportunity
As the Operations Shift Supervisor (AM) – Facility will lead a team of team leaders and freight handler staff to deliver against agreed budget and performance outcomes for a given facility functional entity. The Operations Shift Supervisor (AM) will facilitate the continued improvement of the facility operations by analysing current performance, identifying improvement opportunities and developing improvement action plans in conjunction with the AM Facility Manager. This role is focussed on delivering continual efficiency improvement at the lowest possible cost in the pursuit of service excellence.
About you
- Lead by example in setting and maintaining standards in culture and team cohesion
- Maintain current knowledge of safe work practices
- Adhere to company safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Participate in site audits
- Interact and communicate with relevant staff and management team on issues and respond to requests for various information and statistical reports
- Develop and maintain strategic, tactical, administrative and daily analytical capabilities
- Integrate information analysed into presentations to present to the management team on a regular basis
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
