Help us win in eCommerce as a Small Business Account Manager!

Back off the biggest peak ever, we have a once in a lifetime secondment opportunity for a salesperson in Adelaide to join our elite division of small business account managers for Australia Post.

In this role you are going to help our eCommerce clients around an area of SA thrive as their businesses grow. In this role, working from our Adelaide office, you will be a key trusted advisor to small businesses as they use StarTrack on their growth journey. 

With B2B, B2C and international freight solutions at your fingertips, you are a key enabler for leading Australian eCommerce businesses to get their products to customers!

About the opportunity

This is a role like no other for a customer focused, keen and sales-oriented individual, if you really like understanding your clients deeply and helping them achieve their business goals as a trusted advisor then this is the job for you. 

You will work with a portfolio of eCommerce leaders in Australia, growing revenue and developing new business in a portfolio that is currently trading above target.

This is truly an opportunity for growth and development of your sales career, and to be a leader in eCommerce in South Australia. 

What you’ll deliver with us

Through delighting our eCommerce customers with excellent account management, and new business development you will help StarTrack achieve our ambitious growth targets.  

You’ll 

  • Manage existing accounts to increase share of wallet and opportunities to sell additional freight services. 
  • Present and conduct joint business reviews with c-suite leaders of eCommerce businesses. 
  • Analyse the accounts in the portfolio to identify risks and opportunities for growth. 
  • Call and meet with customers online / over the phone and develop long term, trusted relationships. 
  • Develop new business across this portfolio, riding the incredible momentum we’ve seen in new business activity across this sector to exceed targets.

About you

  • You’ll have sales or customer centric experience and a credibility with customers face to face, you’ll have a curious mind and the ability to build deep and lasting relationships with your clients. 
  • You’ll thrive on challenges and have a positive growth mindset that has demonstrated itself in succeeding in prior roles. 
  • You may or may not have a sales background, but if you have a customer focused viewpoint, a commercial mindset, a growth attitude and an ability to learn then please apply today.
