About the opportunity 

As Space Management Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that all regular and scheduled space planning tasks for corporate retail outlets are completed in a timely manner in accordance with promotional activity, project milestones and ad hoc deliverables, with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.

This role will support the Retail and Merchandising teams by maximizing the profitability mix of all Corporate Retail Post outlets by applying internal and external financial data and providing merchandising support and recommendations to category, product and merchandising management. Using the latest advanced space planning software, the role is required to support the replenishment of corporate retail outlet inventories in accordance with the defined inventory policy objectives and performance metrics.

  • Manage and maintain product merchandising through the appropriate software tools available.
  • Proactively manage a comprehensive catalogue that facilitate the needs of a wide variety of store layouts, sizes and customer demographics.
  • Maintain product databases, fixture libraries, position capturing, replenishment parameters, tracking and reporting.
  • Develop a useful database of customer information to develop more detailed plans to enable Post to maximize their return by store location.
  • Communicate product layout standards through the generation, distribution and implementation of merchandise programs.
     

About you 

We are looking for a driven and motivated Space Management professional, ideally from a Retail environment, with excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. You will have brilliant interpersonal skills, able to build and foster strong relationships with teams across various areas of the organisation. This role will suit someone looking for growth and development and keen interest in gaining exposure in outlet design. 
 

You’ll also need  

  • Knowledge of Space Management software and systems – AutoCAD and Revit 
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP ERP
  • Understand of DDA (Disability Discrimination Act
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of typical retail industry supply chain functions, processes and systems that support inventory management and fulfilment
  • Exposure to inventory forecasting and replenishment systems, tools and methodologies
  • Qualifications in Visual Merchandising or another related discipline are desirable
