What you’ll deliver with us
As our Identity Engineer you are responsible for the development, maintenance and implementation of enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions and supporting tooling that enable the Australia Post workforce. The Senior Identity Engineer estimates and executes systems development work to time, budget and quality targets in accordance with both internal Architectural and Security standards and Industry best practice. You will be delivering technical excellence in to an operational identity environment. The platform identity services you work on ultimately enable security contracts such as user lifecycle management, birthright provisioning, user access review, password reset and reporting.
You will also resolve technical development issues that may arise during the whole development lifecycle and works closely with Australia Post Architecture to develop detailed designs and system specifications for solution implementation and future integration activities. This role also mentors and coaches junior technical and support resources, upskilling them in development practices and supporting them in their career development objectives utilising SailPoint IdentityIQ.
You’ll also
- Lead the enhancement of identity platform: SailPoint and the services it supports including service management.
- Responsible for the delivery of engineering solutions to AccessNow (Identity Governance & Administration) platform and technical consulting
- Provide technical consulting and leadership to both mature the function in BAU and deliver robust work products for projects that align to design standards, patterns and identity strategy.
- Maintain awareness of internal and external standards and compliance obligations and drives platform compliance to these standards/obligations.
- Work closely with the external stakeholders including the Manager of Identity Engineering, Product Owner Identity Governance, Principal Identity Architect, Head of IAM and Identity Partnership & Enablement Manager as well as vendor customer success managers externally.
- Work on this BAU delivery role and shape this function at Australia Post.
You’ll also need
- Proven experience in identity engineering, Java development or identity solution consulting experience with domain knowledge.
- Delivery experience across SailPoint Identity products supporting technologies.
- Experience in working in and managing supporting cloud technologies for the Identity solution
- Proven knowledge of version control and code management technologies (eg. GitLab)
- Experience in development and maintenance of scripting languages.
- Proficiency with workload management and delivery tooling (eg. Jira) and methodologies
- Background in delivering and supporting critical business services in a medium to large enterprise.
