About the opportunity  
This is an exciting role for an experienced individual to join one of Australia’s top employers to support with our people strategy. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive strategic workforce plans for the enterprise and business units to support delivering on Australia Posts ambitious transformation program supporting our workforce to have the right people in the right roles with the right skills at the right time. 

Role is flexible on location and open to those based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

 

What you’ll deliver with us  

You will partner with those in our enterprise and be supported by our Head of Strategy and Capability to deliver on strategic workforce plans. The role will also support the team with expert delivery and implementation expertise by setting frameworks, rhythms and best practice for delivery and benefits monitoring across the team. 

You’ll also   

  • Analysing current and future workforce needs, identify skill gaps and design strategies to attract, develop and retain top talent to ensure the workforce remains adaptable and prepared for current and future challenges
  • Development of Australia Post people strategy in conjunction with the people & culture leadership to ensure the enterprise business plan can be delivered through a capable and engaged workforce
  • Support the design and execution of the business unit led strategic people priorities aligned to the enterprise people strategy
  • Work with the business to embed to embed new capability frameworks and models to support our workforce to transition as our business transforms
  • Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to track and evaluate workforce planning initiatives
     

About you  

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about joining one of the largest employers in Australia and being part of the journey to influence a large-scale workforce which is committed to one of the largest business transformations.

 

You’ll also need   

  • Experience in strategic workforce planning, including analysis and interpretation of complex people data
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing P&C programs and initiatives end-to-end including cross functional project teams
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities
  • Change management expertise, including the ability to drive change and overcome resistance
  • Several years’ experience in a people & culture or HR Manager role working within a CoE Portfolio
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence
