About the opportunity  

Reporting to the Head of Change Management, you are accountable for managing large, complex and/or multi-workstream change programs to deliver effective change outcomes for the program


The Senior Change Manager will also be responsible for leading and managing a team of change practitioners to deliver the change outcomes and provide direction to both the change and project teams to ensure alignment with the program's change management strategy, methodology, and the deployment of change activity.


What you’ll deliver with us 

  • Work closely with stakeholders to build effective and enduring relationships and provide a holistic approach to the analysis and management of the program's change impacts on stakeholders and the enterprise
  • Ensure the program team approach the business in a coordinated and unified way to improve the employee experience and reduce time to business benefits of projects
  • Support the Change Management Office in scoping change scale, complexity and resourcing requirements of initiatives in their early initiation phase
  • Apply a structured approach and toolset to understand, evaluate and execute the change program that is consistent with the enterprise change management framework and industry-wide good practice standards
  • Develop the program change strategy and plan and ensure the case for change is established
  • Manage the change execution across the program, including assessment of change impacts and the engagement of stakeholders to solutions and deliver the change activity
  • Drive and support effective business readiness assessment and good practice in embedding and sustaining the change
  • Establish and manage central program registers for change & business impacts and stakeholder engagement and communication activity that enable impacts and change activity to be effectively coordinated to ensure consistency and a unified approach for stakeholders
  • Engage and influence senior and executive stakeholders (internal and external), and be responsible for influencing positive outcomes for the change 
  • Engagement of the right people at the right time throughout the project lifecycle by developing, maintaining and working towards stakeholder strategies and plans

 

About you 

  • Degree qualified in business or a related field, or demonstrated business experience
  • 7+ years' experience using change management principles, theories, practices and project management disciplines including business benefits realisation and their application to programs of work (Prosci or equivalent accredited)
  • Proven experience with end-to-end project management of complex, cross functional programs in large organisations and ability to manage and provide leadership to change and project team members
  • Relevant (intermediate) understanding of technical, legislative, contractual and compliance obligations affecting program/project
  • Demonstrate proven experience in managing projects of varying size and disciplines - meeting business critical deadlines across multiple assignments preferably within large, complex organisations
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), negotiation, consulting, presenting skills and facilitation of large groups to gather requirements from stakeholders/business functions.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
