What you’ll deliver with us
Our Relationships Lead is the lead engagement for a number of functions within the Data & AI Partnerships team. Reporting directly into the Head of Data & AI Partnerships the lead will will focus on leading innovative solutions to meet evolving needs of merchants, advancing Australia Post’s position as a market leader in the parcels markets. As a senior member of the Data & AI Partnerships team, this role will be required to interact with colleagues across Data Services to drive customer outcomes that are inline with our strategic priorities. This role will be required to have a deep understanding of Government proceudres and emerging technologies.
The Relationships lead seeks to understand customer needs and be able to articulate those requirements to assist in building solutions that ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. You will maintain strong relationships with key Government stakeholders and decision makers. Part of this role involves overseeing Data & AI Partnerships contract negotiations as well as revising commercial agreements to support the teams strategic and commercial priorities if required.
You’ll also
- Be the key relationship manager for Government relationships, such as Geoscape and DITRDCA.
- Meet with customers to understand their requirements and drive frequent communication
- Relationship lead for customer Data & AI engagements.
- Lead the preparation of proposals that ensure compliance with Government regulations/
- Develop plans and drive the teams’ strategic priorities for Government Data & AI initiatives
- Develop and maintain the Customer engagement process for Data & AI Partnerships
- Work with stakeholders to drive execution of commercial contracts
- Support the Data& AI Partnerships team to achieve committed revenue and EBIT targets
About you
We are seeking a strong communicator who can collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Internally you will be working with the Sales specialist, Data & AI, Legal, Shareholder Liaison and Finance Business partner teams. It is critical to be able to strengthen relationships with external stakeholders including the Data Solutions data partners, Australia Post customers and our data solution suppliers.
You’ll also need
- Proven Senior Sales, Relationships Management or Consulting experience
- High level of understanding of the Data & AI market or Digital partnership products is advantageous but not a dealbreaker
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of forms and licence agreements
- Well-developed interpersonal oral, written communications and presentation skills
- Understanding of corporate and government processes and regulations
- Background in dealing with the Data & AI market customers, industry groups and internal stakeholders is relevant but not critical
- Knowledge of contract and project management methodologies
- Experience influencing stakeholders and managing both internal & external expectations
