About the opportunity 
 
 Our Planning Portfolio team that sit within our Post, Parcel & E-Commerce division are instrumental in ensuring we are on track to deliver the most impactful and strategic projects that deliver against our Post26 strategy. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative project management team, working closely with various stakeholders to align scheduling activities with company goals and objectives. Your meticulous planning, communication and coordination skills will be key to driving the success of our projects.  This position partners with internal and external stakeholders ensuring completeness, accuracy and clarity of works programs, the identification of critical works, and the timely communication of program delays along with mitigation strategies.

    What you’ll deliver with us 
     
     This is an instrumental role in shaping and delivering our Australia Post 26 Strategy which includes; modernisation and transformation of our workforce, tools, programmes and customer strategy.  
     
     
     
     You’ll also 
  • Develop portfolio timelines to ensure completion targets and schedules are realistic and performance can be readily planned, monitored, managed, and reported for all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Provide support, expert advice and contribution to the development of "time phased" project budget and cost plans as necessary to ensure clarity of project delivery.
  •  Advise senior management on schedule and performance issues arising and recommend improvements and mitigation actions to ensure project programs are robust and able to be delivered within the required time frames.
  • Assist with the planning of benefit realisation PIRs to ensure that programs and project at on track to deliver agreed benefits in line with approved investments.
  • Reviews and advised on the progress of each program/project within the Portfolio and ensure that change of requirements, dependencies, milestones, risks, issues, and priorities are effectively managed and/or appropriately mitigated
  • Contributes to the creation of roadmaps that define potential benefits and options for achieving these benefits

     About you
     
     

You will be an effective Programme/ Project Planning Manager with extensive experience working in a matrix, transforming organisation and have a proven ability to influence outcomes at all levels in the organisation. You will have an eye for detail, a born problem solver and adapt to changing priorities of the organisation
