About the opportunity  

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager (International) as Inbound Coordinator, you will support warehouse planning requirements and the overall inbound planning activities across the Retail Supply and Logistics team. Working closely with the Procurement and Category teams, you will support with managing the flow of product from the vendor to the network.

This is a full time, 12-month fixed term opportunity.

What you’ll deliver with us  

• Support planning for change products and material categories
• Support operational management of inventory planning
• Place purchase orders in SAP against vendors
• Manage orders across a suite of product categories (Retail & Consumables)
• Track order timing into AP or 3PL warehouses (International and Domestic), assisting with issues where required
• Be the point of contact for receiving issues at warehouses
• Work with Warehouse and Vendors to resolve order receipt issues

About you    

You are an excellent communicator with sound analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. You are highly organised and have the technical skills to utilise a range of supply chain support systems and apply appropriate tools, processes and methodologies to support the purchasing and management of inventories.

You’ll also have

• Tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or another related discipline is desirable
• Demonstrated high level experience with SAP
• Sound knowledge and understanding of typical retail industry supply chain functions, processes and systems that support inventory management and fulfilment
• Relevant supply chain experience in a retail environment
• Demonstrated experience in materials planning and inventory management, preferably using advanced planning systems
• Broad understanding of supply and value chains relating to inbound goods movement
• Experience in the entire procure-to-pay process cycle
