As our Seasonal Casual - Yard Hand you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities during our busiest time of the year.
We're now hiring for our seasonal period. Seasonal team members generally commence across September and December and depending on parcel volume, assisting us to deliver until around Christmas. You'll be in this role until mid-late January 2026.
You’ll be
- Safely open/close truck curtains once they arrive/leave at the depot.
- General ad-hoc duties in the yard including checs, directed by supervisor
- Working the hours from 8:00pm - 5:00am (Monday to Friday) with the occasional weekend work (depending on business requirements).
You’ll be paid
- An attractive hourly rate of $38.58 per hour + 12% superannuation contributions
- This shift includes a 30% loading additional to the hourly rate above.
About you
- Have full works rights (no restrictions)
- You’re safety focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
- You have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
- You’re fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights
- Undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
