About the opportunity
Join our dynamic and fast-paced team as a Radio Room Operations Clerk, where you’ll play a key role in streamlining operations, improving customer service, and ensuring operational efficiency. You’ll be at the heart of logistics, working closely with site management to provide operational and administrative support across various tasks. With a focus on improving revenue and service quality, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.
What you’ll deliver with us
- Administrative Support: Provide clerical and administrative assistance, including managing timesheets, processing invoices, and data entry for driver times, freight tracking, and salesforce actions.
- Operational Efficiency: Assist site management by facilitating safety, planning, and load monitoring, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and CoR (Chain of Responsibility) procedures.
- Customer Service: Address customer queries, assist with missing freight, and support account managers with day-to-day inquiries.
- Fleet controller relief support to team: First point of contact and a support pillar to the team.
About you
You’re a team player who thrives in a busy, self-directed environment. You enjoy multitasking, are detail-oriented, and have a passion for logistics. With your excellent communication skills and ability to manage processes, you drive results and provide outstanding service. Your strong administrative skills are matched by your commitment to safety and efficiency.
You’ll also need
- Experience in transport and logistics or a related field.
- Strong administrative skills including data entry and managing operational paperwork.
- The ability to work well within a team, under pressure, and adapt to fluctuating freight volumes.
- Knowledge of OH&S procedures and an understanding of safety standards.
- Work Monday - Friday (12pm- 8pm)
