We're hiring for a Planning Analyst. This position will assist the Portfolio & Planning team in facilitating demand requests, supporting the Head of Portfolio & Planning and internal Enterprise Services stakeholders to establish and maintain portfolio governance, uplift planning capability, and coordinate strategic planning activities across Enterprise Services.
The role will require activities such as data analysis, pack preparations, facilitating forums, minute & action taking, and ensuring all portfolio-level commitments are met. Attention to detail, strong presentation skills, and written and verbal communication are essential.
Additionally, this role will partner with Business Domain teams to drive the quarterly planning schedule and cadence, facilitate contention management and prioritisation forums as required, and ensure transparent communication of decision-making
What you’ll deliver with us
Input into decision-making to prioritise initiatives within the constraints of funding, people, and time.
Maintain single-source visibility and a backlog of all Enterprise Services initiative requests.
Partner with Business Domain teams to drive quarterly planning schedule and cadence, facilitate contention management and prioritisation forums, and ensure transparent decision-making communication.
Support Enterprise Services portfolio governance activities as directed.
About you
You have a strong understanding of the commercial and planning requirements of a large digital organisation, with exposure to financial planning and prioritisation at a project portfolio level. Your knowledge of governance, risk and compliance frameworks, combined with familiarity with PMO activities such as status reporting, benefits tracking, dependencies and sequencing, enables you to operate effectively in complex environments. You are confident in building relationships and presenting credibly to senior leaders through governance forums, and comfortable engaging with domain stakeholders and delivery owners. As Portfolio & Planning is an evolving function, you thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly when roles and responsibilities are not fully defined.
You’ll also need
Management consulting background would be highly regarded.
Commercial management and planning skills
Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
