Help us deliver like never before
Australia Post is delivering like never before. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.
About the opportunity
As the Implementation Project Manager for the Dynamic Sort Management program, you will lead the end-to-end deployment of a critical capability that will transform how our network operates.
Working at the intersection of operations and technology, you will drive the implementation strategy, ensuring business readiness is tightly aligned with technical deployment. You will partner with senior operational leaders, program sponsors, technology teams and vendors to deliver a seamless transition to new sortation capability while protecting network performance, service and cost to serve.
This is a high impact role that combines strategic oversight with hands on delivery, ensuring our facilities are ready, supported and set up to realise the full benefits of this investment.
What you’ll deliver with us
You will lead the successful rollout of Dynamic Sort Management across our network, ensuring deployment activities are well planned, coordinated and executed with minimal disruption to business-as-usual operations.
You will develop and execute implementation plans, manage risks and issues, and provide clear readiness assessments to inform key go and no go decisions. Through strong engagement with operational leaders and frontline teams, you will support effective change adoption and embed new ways of working.
You will drive collaboration across Enterprise Services, Network Operations and external partners to ensure smooth transition into business support. You will also contribute to budget planning, manage resources responsibly and ensure benefits realisation is tracked and achieved.
Most importantly, you will champion a One Australia Post mindset, prioritising safety, wellbeing and customer outcomes in every decision.
About you
You are an experienced project leader with a proven track record delivering complex system or process implementations in operational, supply chain or manufacturing environments. You are confident navigating competing priorities between project objectives and live operations, and you know how to keep momentum while bringing people with you.
You bring strong change management capability and are comfortable engaging with multi layered stakeholder groups, including senior executives, frontline leaders and union representatives. You communicate with clarity and influence, translating vision into action and building commitment at every level.
You have a solid understanding of automated processing environments and the technology that enables operational efficiency. You are highly organised, detail oriented and comfortable working within structured project and change methodologies.
If you thrive in large scale transformation, enjoy working cross functionally and want to play a key role in shaping the future of our network, we’d love to hear from you.
